- Safeco will insure all-terrain vehicles with four or six wheels, a wide variety of utility task vehicles (UTV), side-by-sides, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, golf carts, and other select off-road vehicles. Talk with a Safeco agent to get details about all the vehicles types we cover.
- Our minimum operator age is 14 years. Vehicles made for, or used by, young children, like child-sized ATVs, dirt bikes, or other similar off-road vehicles, are ineligible for coverage with Safeco.
- No. Safeco does not cover ATVs or dirt bikes used for motocross or other racing contests or those with nitrous oxide kits installed.
- Accidents with other drivers or riders can occur even off-road. That's why Safeco offers protection against the cost of injuries or damage you may experience as a result of an accident caused by an uninsured or underinsured (UM/UIM) driver. Depending on which state you live in, you may be required to carry UM/UIM coverage, so talk with your local independent agent to be sure.
