- Safeco insures nearly all makes and models of golf carts. We also cover all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) with four or six wheels, a wide variety of utility task vehicles (UTV), side-by-sides, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, and other select off-road vehicles.
Talk with an independent agent to get details about all the vehicles types we cover. - Your homeowners policy may give you some coverage for use of a golf cart, but it's very limited and there are many common situations that could leave you without protection.
For example, many homeowners policies won't cover you when you drive to a neighbor's house, which is a typical use for these types of vehicles. Having a separate policy gives you peace of mind because you'll have coverage at home, on the golf course, and on public roads, even if you loan your golf cart to a friend. - Yes! And when you do, we'll give you a discount for having multiple golf carts (or motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and other off-road vehicles) on the same policy.
- Not at this time. Golf carts owned by a business or used for commercial or business purposes are not eligible for coverage with Safeco.
